Athertyn Gardens Give Homeowners the Opportunity to Pursue Outdoor Hobbies in a Condominium Setting

When the 55+ lifestyle community of Athertyn was being constructed on the grounds of the Haverford Reserve, a portion of the surrounding open space was preserved to allow residents to pursue their hobby of gardening.  The developers of the property, the Pohlig organization, recognized that many homeowners do not wish to give up some of their outdoor hobbies when moving from a single family home to a lifestyle community, so they created  the Athertyn Gardens.
