Athertyn Enrichment Series offers opportunities for entertainment and lifelong learning

Popular new program brings first-hand cultural experiences to the Main Line's premier lifestyle community

Haverford, PA — March, 2011— One of the many benefits of home ownership at Athertyn at Haverford Reserve is the community's spectacular location, convenient to all the social and cultural attractions of the Main Line and downtown Philadelphia. Now Athertyn is making it even easier to enjoy a wide range of cultural experiences with the Athertyn Enrichment Series, a series of fun and educational events that brings entertainment, culinary adventures, and the fine and performing arts to Athertyn residents and guests.

Held at the Athertyn residents' clubhouse, the Enrichment Series gives attendees first-hand access to artists, performers, and scholars who share their knowledge and talents in a relaxed, intimate setting. Past events have included a collaboration with the Main Line Art Center, a timely session on holiday entertaining presented by Festivities Catering, and a 90-minute “Around the World” wine tasting and food pairing trip with Zach Morris, a certified sommelier instructor from the award-winning Wine School of Philadelphia.

Douglas, Ph.D., of the Bryn Mawr Film Institute; and "Sizzling Hot BBQ & Marinating Pointers," presented by the Viking Culinary Center and Ferguson Enterprises.

"The Athertyn Enrichment Series has been extremely well-received by the Athertyn community," said builder Todd Pohlig. "Our buyers are finally at a stage in their lives where they are able to pursue the activities and interests that they've always put off in the past. We know that many Athertyn residents share a great passion for learning and experiencing new things, and the Enrichment Series has been a fantastic way to bring that ongoing sense of adventure and self-discovery to the community."
